04

Do I need any experience?

No experience necessary! We work with complete beginners all the way through advanced riders. Every lesson is tailored to your current skill level.

07

Can I reschedule a lesson?

Yes. Lessons can be rescheduled with 24-hour notice. Makeup lessons must be used within 30 days.

10

Do I need my own horse?

No. We provide safe, well-trained horses for all lessons. If you're interested in spending more time with a specific horse, ask about our leasing options.

02

How old do you have to be to take riding lessons?

We work with riders as young as six years old, as well as teens and adults of all ages. There's no upper age limit—if you're interested in learning, we're here to help.

05

Do you teach English or Western?

Both! We offer instruction in English and Western riding styles, as well as jumping, dressage, and cross-country for more advanced riders.

08

What's the difference between private and semi-private lessons?

Private lessons give you one-on-one instruction tailored to your goals. Semi-private lessons (2–3 riders) are great for friends or siblings at a similar skill level. Semi-private students must be able to tack up independently and be working on pre-canter skills.

11

Are riding lessons safe?

Yes. Safety is our top priority. All riders wear helmets, and we match each student with a calm, reliable horse suited to their skill level. Our instructors maintain close supervision at all times, and all lessons take place in our covered arena.

03

What should I wear?

- Paddock boots or sturdy closed-toe shoes with a small heel (no sneakers or sandals)

- Comfortable pants (breeches, jeans, or leggings)

- Helmet (we provide loaners if you don't have one)

06

How long are lessons?

Lessons are 60 minutes. For younger students or those learning to tack up, we include 30 minutes of horse care and 30 minutes of riding.

09
